Booking page

With a booking page, an employer no longer has to text “are you free Saturday?”. They get their own link, pick one or more days, fill in times and a location, and you accept or decline the request in GigGuru.

  1. On the web, go to Settings → Employers.
  2. On the employer, choose Activate booking page.
  3. Copy the link under Booking page URL and send it to your employer.

Each employer gets their own link. To stop a link from working, choose Deactivate. A booking page is switched on from the web; in the iPhone app you can handle the requests.

  • Your blocked days and your fixed day off show as Unavailable. So you don’t need to pass on a holiday separately.
  • With Show busy times on, the employer also sees when you are already booked. They see only a start and end time: never who you work for, where or what for. You switch this on or off per employer. It is off by default.

A request appears as a Request in your calendar and on your dashboard, and you get a notification on your phone. On the web you accept or decline it from your dashboard or on the employer under Settings → Employers; in the app through Settings → Booking requests.

  • Accepting turns it into an ordinary gig, with that employer and their rate.
  • If the request falls on a blocked day, you cannot accept it by accident.
  • GigGuru also checks a request against your other gigs. If it overlaps, you hear about it.
