What GigGuru does (and doesn't)

You work for four or five employers, and each one plans in its own system. GigGuru is not another planning tool but the layer on top: your employers keep their own system, and you get one overview of all of them.

  • Everything in one place. You connect Rentman or any calendar that offers an iCal link. New gigs, changes and cancellations then arrive on their own. The job that comes in by phone you add by hand.
  • Overlaps, straight away. Every new or changed gig is checked against everything already there. When two gigs overlap, you get a notification on your phone.
  • Your own limits. You set a maximum number of hours per week and days per month. The app notifies you at 80% and again once you go over.
  • Less admin. GigGuru works out travel distance and time itself, there and back, and sends hours, mileage, rate and the right client to Moneybird, Rompslomp or e-Boekhouden. You check and send.
  • See what you earn. By the hour or by the day, agreed per employer, per month and per year, against your own target.
  • It sends nothing back to your employer’s system. The connection is one-way. Your availability does not go back to Rentman or any other system; an employer only sees your availability through your booking page.
  • It does not read WhatsApp or email. A request that arrives that way, you add yourself.
  • It does not calculate tax. GigGuru works out what you earn, not what you owe.
  • No direct TeamTrack or CrewPlanner connection yet. If your employer gives you an iCal link, it works today. See per system.
  • No Android app yet. There is an iPhone app in a closed beta; see the iPhone app.

Connect your first calendar: without a connection the calendar stays empty, and then nothing else works either.
