Rompslomp

With Rompslomp, GigGuru pushes the gigs you have worked as hours, optionally as rides for your mileage log, and creates draft invoices, one per client.

  1. On the web, go to Settings → Accounting and pick Rompslomp. During onboarding this is the Accounting step.

  2. Choose Connect with Rompslomp. You sign in at Rompslomp and are sent back to GigGuru automatically.

  3. Under Invoice settings, pick the Company GigGuru should work in. A Rompslomp account can hold several companies. You can also pick an invoice template and a VAT type for the invoice lines; neither is required.

  4. Switch on the sync settings you want.

Choose Use API key instead and paste a personal API token from Rompslomp. According to Rompslomp you create one under Instellingen → API, and the API add-on has to be active in your account. Then pick the company, and optionally a template and VAT type, as above.

For each gig that is included:

  • Hours (when Sync worked hours is on) — an hours entry with the date, start and end time and the title, linked to the client’s contact.
  • Ride (when Register kilometers (ritten) is on) — a business ride with the round-trip distance, from the gig’s departure address or your home address to the location. Only when the distance is known and the client pays travel.
  • Draft invoice (when Create draft invoices is on) — one draft per client with a line per gig, using your VAT type if you picked one.

A gig whose client has no linked contact yet gets no invoice. The sync says so, and once you link the contact the gig is picked up on the next round.

  • It does not send invoices. You do that in Rompslomp.
  • It does not change anything already in Rompslomp.
