Only new jobs are invoiced

GigGuru invoices forwards, not backwards. Whatever you worked before you used GigGuru, you have probably invoiced already, and a second invoice for the same work is the last thing you want. So GigGuru automatically excludes those gigs from the accounting sync at two moments.

  • On the first sync of a calendar connection. Every gig from that feed that has already ended at that moment is excluded. Gigs still to come are included later as normal.
  • When you connect an accounting package for the first time. Every gig in your account that has already ended at that moment — including ones you entered by hand — is excluded.

Reconnecting the same package, for example because your token expired, excludes nothing extra.

  • Every gig that ends after the moment you connected.
  • A gig you add by hand later, even if it lies in the past. It did not exist yet when the exclusion happened.

A gig from before the connection you still need to invoice

Section titled “A gig from before the connection you still need to invoice”

Say you worked a job last week that you had not invoiced yet, and then connected your accounting. That gig is not included automatically, and there is no button to include it after all. Create that one invoice in your accounting software yourself.
