Can it be done? Yes, by making the calendar public in iCloud and pasting the link into GigGuru. This page is about an iCloud calendar you want to see in GigGuru. Seeing your GigGuru gigs on your iPhone can be done two ways, see GigGuru in your own calendar and Calendar on your iPhone.

Usually this is your private calendar: connect it with Add as blocked days, so your appointments shape your availability without counting as work.

You. You need to own the calendar; a calendar someone else shares with you can’t be made public by you.

  1. On your iPhone, open the Calendar app and tap Calendars at the bottom.

  2. Tap the i next to the calendar you want to connect.

  3. Switch on Public Calendar and tap Share Link to copy the link.

  4. In GigGuru on the web, go to Settings → Connectors, paste the link into Feed URL, give the connection a name and choose Connect. For your private calendar, switch on Add as blocked days first. In the iPhone app that is only possible during onboarding, in the Calendar step under Import private calendar.

On a Mac it works too: in the Calendar app, right-click the calendar, choose Share Calendar and switch on Public Calendar.

The title, times, location and notes of each event, as a gig or a blocked day.

  • iCloud updates a public calendar with some delay.
  • Recurring events do not come through properly: GigGuru only takes the first occurrence. A regular day off is better blocked in GigGuru itself.
